If you are a chocolate lover, this place is a must for you. Not just learning about the history of chocolate, you will also get a chance to learn how to make chocolate in the workshop. As you walk through the museum, you will have a chance to taste different varieties of chocolate. You can taste as many chocolates as you like, and there is also a provision to buy them there itself. In the museum, they have a Bean to Bar workshop. This workshop is conducted twice a day at 10:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. The session is for two hours, where you will have a chance to learn the art of chocolate-making, from collecting beans to making chocolate. After an hour, you can take your customized handmade chocolates with you. They will also teach you how to prepare Maya and Conquistadores drinks. This can be booked online as well from the website: www.chocomuseo.com/santo-domingo-conde-bean-to-bar-workshop. If you're tight on time and can't spend 2 hours there, attend the mini-workshop. This is for 45 minutes where there is a quick explanation of the chocolate-making process. There is also another workshop where you can pick your own chocolate and remake it with four ingredients of your choice.
