Move aside traditional style of museums. Here comes an exhibition with a modern twist! The Brussels Comic Book Museum is an extremely well-known attraction of the capital city. This is a perfect place to keep the young and old entertained! The official name of the Comic Strip museum is the Belgian Centre for Comic Strip Art. As the name suggests, the museum is dedicated to the evolving art form of comic books. It opened its door to the public in 1989 and has been well received with over 200,000 visitors every year. There are various permanent and temporary displays being exhibited in the museum throughout the year. Each and everything that is done here is dedicated to the promotion of the Ninth Art. Apart from the treasures and rich history within the four walls of the museum, the building itself is worth mentioning. It has been designed in the famous 1990s style of Art Nouveau architecture by the famous architect Victor Horta.
