When in Vietnam you will surely want to see its largest natural freshwater lake, Ba Bể Lake in the heart of Ba Bể National Park. The lake is circled by limestone cliffs and primeval forests.
What looks like a jungle has lowland evergreen forests, waterfalls, caves to explore, an information center, and guesthouses. The Na Khoang Waterfall springs from a lake, and its four layers flow 1,800 feet down to the pool below. The half-mile-long Dau Dang Waterfall was formed by the Nang River, which you can travel by a Tay girl in a flat-bottomed boat.
Paddle Fairy Lake, a rock basin with clear water filtered through the limestone rock. Journey into the Puong Cave. The cave is 150 feet high and 900 feet long. Don’t be afraid of its current inhabitants, about 18 species of bats.
Even Widow Island has a story. You’ll have to visit to find out.
