Chefchahouen can easily get around on foot and by taxi.
The cheapest option is the local buses but not so good for the tourist instead take the CTM buses.
Be respectful with the locals and don't click pictures without permission.
Outside of the medina, you will find a beautiful waterfall called Ras el Maa.
Shop some hand-making goods from there as they are genuine and of higher quality.
Carry cash with you as ATM machines are rare in most of the places.
For hygiene purpose, you can carry toilet paper or wipes, as you will not get those in public restrooms.
Most of the shops are closed on Friday.
You should dress appropriately.
Do lots of bargaining in the shop and never pay the first asking price.
Take a tour to the hash field to enjoy the greenery.
Make sure to keep health insurance before heading to the place.
Beware of the pickpocketers and keep your belongings safely.
Wear comfortable shoes.
Carry an ample amount of water to avoid dehydration.
Make sure you have in your backpack a protective suncream, sunglasses, rainwear, warm clothes, sufficient food, and drink.
