About Boh Sungei Palas Tea Estate

A beautiful tea garden, Boh Sungei Palas Tea Estate is one of the most vibrant and alluring tea estates in Malaysia. It also has Boh’s first tea factory built in 1929, located in Cameron Highlands, Pahang, Malaysia.  Green plantations of tea at a high altitude will be soothing to your eyes.

It is one of the oldest and largest tea gardens in the area as it covers approximately 465 hectares of land. The tea plantation was founded by J.A Russel, a British businessman. Walking through the narrow lanes of the tea garden amid low temperature and a generous rainfall locale is thrilling.

It offers spectacular landscape and impressive surroundings to capture instagrammable photographs. A windy road trip to Boh Sungei Palas Tea Estate through narrow roads of hills and valleys and the luscious green is quite adventurous and memorable. You are sure to take back memories for a lifetime.

The journey of the tea estate is informative and interactive as it provides free guided tours of the plantation area and the old factory. You will also enjoy the engaging demonstration over the tea-making process. There is a small cafeteria to have a hot sip of tea with some popular and light snacks like scones while enjoying the magnificent view.

You can also buy some premium BOH tea which is exclusively available here. Necessary amenities like washrooms are clean and easily accessible. Better prepare to go on weekdays as it gets a little bit crowded on weekends. The mesmerizing scenic beauty of the surroundings makes it a worthy visit to the tea estate.
