If you thought that the town of Cambridge in England was only about the University, you are mistaken. The accommodations are plenty but most tourists prefer to couch share as a way of getting the authentic student experience.
The city is mostly traveled around on foot, however, bus rides and bike rentals are also available.
The best experience in the city is the punt. There are many guided tours which provide you with a chauffeured punt who take you around town with interesting historical facts.
You can visit the University and even attend a lecture or two, just ask around and you will find a student who can guide you.
