The Bus lines 023, 286  also stop near Parque Explora.

  • Lots of things one can do inside the park-like a picnic, afternoon walking or hanging out in the gardens.
  • Weekends are mostly crowded, better to visit on weekdays.
  • For attending live concerts check the calendar before coming.
  • The entrance ticket for butterfly house is 1000 COP.
  • Recommend to visit during the city’s extravagant annual flower festival at the beginning of August.
  • Better to visit the place lately after completing the other attractions nearby just to get the cooler atmosphere and to get relaxed.
  • Many of the other important attractions are right there too.
  • Don't forget to carry your camera.
  • Carry an ample amount of water to avoid dehydration.
  • Wear comfortable shoes.
  • Make sure you have in your backpack a protective sun-cream, sunglasses, rain-wear, sufficient food, and drink.
