The foundation of Shaikh Ebrahim Bin Mohammed Al Khalifa's center of learning was initiated in 2002 and is dedicated to Sh. Ebrahim Bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa, a leading personality who achieved great heights in the field of enlightenment and knowledge. This center of learning was primarily established in the form of an assembly to exchange dialogues related to literature, culture, arts, poetry, philosophy, etc. It has hosted sessions for more than 200 speakers, thinkers, poets, philosophers and given them a platform to share their thoughts in the center's weekly lecture program. Moreover, this center gradually expanded with time due to the enormous demand for preservation of Bahrain heritage and the local culture.
More than ten traditional houses tend to have been restored in Bahrain by the Sheikh Ebrahim Bin Mohammed Al Khalifa center of learning. The restoration project under Sheikh Ebrahim Bin Mohammed Al Khalifa of education involved an all-inclusive program for the proper restoration of Bahrain's culture. These houses belonged to the leading families and the personalities of Bahrain.
