If art from yore is not your thing, head to this museum that specialises in contemporary art and culture of Europe, built in 2003. This is a multidisciplinary museum and it brings together the best of art, photography, mixed media and even film. It houses no permanent exhibits, but a rotating schedule of different artists, so even if you go more than once, you may see something entirely new every time! Even for non-art lovers, the building itself is a sight to behold because of its "blob" architectural design and blue acrylic panel skins. This unusual appearance has earned it the moniker of the "Friendly Alien", wherein the fluorescent rings on the surfaced can be programmed to bring together different patterns on display. The visual makes for a stunning work of art, especially at night, like something out of a science-fiction film.
