About Hong Kong

Hong Kong,  is a special administrative region of China, with the  the Pearl River (Xu Jiang) estuary on its east  located in southeastern China. It is an autonomous territory, a vibrant, densely populated urban center that is a major port and global financial hub with a skyscraper-studded skyline. HongKong as its residents and visitors vouch for can be regarded as one of the best cities of the world. Its world-class infrastructure, transportation facilities, Cosmopolitan aura, idyllic natural hideouts, gastronomical delicacies, lowest tax  rates in Asia, unbelievable bargain shopping hubs, throbbing night time activities .. all have ensured that Hong Kong can be envisaged as the city that dreams are made of.
Formerly a British colony, with the imperial legacy tailing it like a hangover Hong Kong boasts of the largest number of skyscrapers in the world, most surrounding Victoria Harbour. Hong Kong ranks seventh on the UN Human Development Index and has the seventh-longest life expectancy in the world.  Economically not to be left behind it is the world's seventh-largest trading entity, and its legal tender (the Hong Kong Dollar) is the world's 13th-most-traded currency.
