About Playa Varadero

If you have never been to Varadero, you’re missing out. Tourists have been visiting Varadero for over a century!

Playa Varadero is more than 20 km (12 miles) of white sandy beaches and coastline, dotted with 4 and 5-star resorts and hotels. It is the trendiest spot, a miniature Miami, where the likes of gangster Al Capone and dictator Fulgencio Batista built vacation homes.

Both on and off the sandy shores there are plenty of things for visitors to do. Grab your golf clubs and head to the Varadero Golf Club. Watch or swim with the dolphins at the Delfinario. Go for a hike at the Reserva Ecológica Varahicacos or go spelunking in the caves. Dive into the Parque Marino Cayo Piedra del Norte, a scuba diver’s underwater treasure trove. Bring your waterproof camera for up-close snaps of the Soviet AN-24 aircraft, gunboat, and missiles. Deep-sea fish, or go yachting near one of the archipelago cays.

For fun in the sun and surf, look no further than Playa Varadero!
