How to reach

As ther is no public transportation to get here  it is better to take a taxi which may cost around IDR 300,000 
The best option is to hire scooters to reach the Uluwatu temple location at cheap prices

Tips

  •  Hiring a guide is not necessary, but if you hire one, it may be helpful
  • Try visiting the place during sunsets. It is the time when one gets to enjoy the Kecak and fire dance
  • The temple may be quite crowded in the evening. One must take good care of their belongings in order to keep them safe
  • To worship in the temple, one must try to visit the place during the morning hours.
  • Be prepared to have a long walk on the beach
  • Maintain decorum in the temple
  • There is a dress code for Uluwatu Temple, that is a long dress, skirt, pants or sarong.
  • In case you are not dressed according to the dress code, you need not panic,  you will be given a sarong upon entry to Uluwatu Temple

The Uluwatu Temple Bali entrance fee is Indonesian rupiah (IDR) 30,000 per person for adults and Indonesian rupiah (IDR)15,000 for children.
One can enjoy the evening by buying Uluwatu Temple Kecak dance tickets that cost around Indonesian rupiah (IDR) 100,000 and is available from 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. 
The show starts at 6:00 p.m.
