About Euphrasian Basilica

A spectacular example of Byzantine architecture is represented by this majestic Roman Catholic Cathedral, located in Porec. As part of the Unesco World Heritage, the Euphrasian Basilica is comprised of several episcopal structures that evoke the religion’s customs and prayer. Established in the 4th century, this exceptional complex of religious architecture represents Christianity itself and constitutes the beginning of a long sacred journey: baptismal, atrium and basilica, all seen as one’s path through a Christian life dominated by God’s blessings and predestined life.
