How to reach

It's situated across Lahdim Square, the medina's main square. 
Walk to the Place Hedim, and you can see the gate.
 
 
 

Tips

Visit the place with a local guide to know the history of the place.
Large Lahdim Square is located in front of it where one can found the ostrich and monkeys.
There are lots of cafes, restaurants, shops, street vendors and street theater in the square.
You can visit the place any time as Bab Mansour is open at all times with no entrance fee.
You can also visit during the night as it is impressively lit at night.
Be respectful with the locals and don't click pictures without permission.
For hygiene purpose, you can carry toilet paper or wipes, as you will not get those in public restrooms.
Do lots of bargaining in the shop and never pay the first asking price.
Make sure to keep health insurance before heading to the place.
Beware of the pickpocketers and keep your belongings safely.
Wear comfortable shoes.
Carry an ample amount of water to avoid dehydration.
Make sure you have in your backpack a protective suncream, sunglasses, rainwear, warm clothes, sufficient food, and drink.
Recently the gate is used for art exhibitions.
