About Hammamet Medina

The Medina Mediterranea, or Medina of Hammamet, was built in the 15th century in a Roman town dating back to the second century.

This is the type of place you picture for a one-stop vacation. The Medina is the historic part of town, walled in by fortified stone ramparts. The maze of streets run along with whitewashed houses, shops, and restaurants. Souvenirs? You bet. You can find everything from clothing, to spices, and decorations.

The Media is a mix of entertainment and discovery for the whole family. Visit the red dome, the Tour D’Or, and the Skifa Kahla, the only land entrance to the city. Stop in at the Shéhérazade for a spectacle of music and dance. Experience what the city was once like at the Palace of 1,001 Nights, the Barbarousse Brothers, and the Cinema Show Odyssée 3000 Years. Embark on an adventure of your own at Carthage Land, the amusement park with rides, games, and shows.
