About Bukovel

Leave behind the hustle and bustle of the city and find solace into the snow-clad mountains. Does this sound too good to be true? It is both – too good and very true. In spite of being relatively young, Bukovel is said to be uber chic and popular ski resort in the country of Ukraine. This breathtaking resort offers comfort to the body, mind, and soul of tourists and locals alike.

A haven for outdoor sports enthusiasts, Bukovel has 16 ski lifts, that range from 650 meters to 2,000 meters long, making it the biggest ski resort in the entire Eastern Europe area! However, like most of us, if you have two left feet and can only dream of skiing, then the resort offers training classes as well. Or even if, you would rather leave your skis back in the hotel room, you can sip on some delicious hot beverages and soak in the unforgettable view of the snow-clad mountains.

The Bukovel resort is located in the Carpathians, which is one of the most gorgeous cities of Ukraine. Since snow falls and stays in the city for almost 6 months of the year (November to April), this resort offers the most ideal conditions for skiing and snowboarding. Complete with ski trails of over 50 km long, they spread out across 5 mountains. What sets this resort apart is that it isn’t restricted to the winter season. Once the last of the snow has melted, Bukovel continues to welcome river explorers, mountain bikers, alpinists, etc. during the spring and summer seasons. Just when you thought that was all, Bukovel goes over and above with its mineral springs. Due to this, there are various spas and sanitoriums that operate from this location. Let’s add body massage and detox to our list of things to do, shall we?
