About National Mosque of Malaysia

In addition to natural reserves and Buddhist temples, the country of Malaysia is home to numerous intricately designed mosques as well. One of the most famous being the National Mosque of Malaysia in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur. This humongous structure stands high on the horizon, showcasing its size as well as visual appeal. It is located amid 13 acres of gardens and has the capacity for 15,000 people at a time. Every nook and cranny holds designs which have a meaning behind it. The most intriguing aspect of it is the 16-pointed-star concrete roof of the mosque inspired by the idea of an open umbrella while On the other hand, its 73-meter-high minarets resemble the concept of a folded umbrella. It also features the idea of folded plates to obtain a bigger space in the main gathering hall. A trip to the mosque is a great way to explore the diversity that exists in this beautiful nation.
