About Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen

 Apart from paintings, it is also home to a collection of various sculptures, prints, drawings, and everyday items. If you can tear your eye from the mesmerizing attraction of the art collection within the museum, there is much to see outside as well. From the museum, you can marvel at the view of the sculpture garden! There are three wings within this monumental structure. The wings are the Collections Building, the Temporary Exhibitions Building, and the Pavilion. Each of these wings has its own charisma, function, and role in the museum! How interesting is that?

How to reach

 Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen is located adjacent to Museumpark and is easy to get to by metro or tram 7 or 20 (Eendrachtsplein stop). From Rotterdam Central Station, it is about a 15-minute walk. 

 A taxi will charge around 8 EUR oneway to the museum.

  • The Museumpark parking garage is adjacent to the museum building
  • The Library is open from Tuesdays to Fridays  
  • Audio guides and guided tours are available.
  • Museum Shop is opened from Tuesday to Sunday till 5.00 pm.
  • Don't forget to carry your camera to capture the amazing view of the place.
  • Wheelchair accessible.
  • Food and drinks are not permitted in the museum nor in the exhibition spaces.
  • Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the museum.
  • There are a number of wheelchairs available and can be reserved online.
  • The museum has 3 accessible toilets, on the ground floor.
