About Torres del Paine National Park

Voted as the fifth most beautiful place by National Geographic, the Torres del Paine National Park sits between Magellanic sub polar forests and the Patagonian Steppes in southern  Chilean Ptagonia. It is one of the largest, and the most-visited,parks in the country.

It is named after the Torres del Paine, the three granite mountain peaks that rise above the glaciers, rivers, grasslands, and forests. In the native language of Tehuelche,Paine means "blue." It is aptly named since there are bright blue ice bergs and glaciers in the area. The glaciers are the part of the Southern Patagonia Ice Field.

Chile is the southern most country in the world. It is,therefore,no surprise that Torres del Paine is part of the end of the world rout

Pack your bags and get ready to go on the hike of a lifetime for one day,or a few. There are trails to guide you and shelters and campsights along the way.You can still enjoy the park and the spectacular views by staying in any one of the hotels.Don't worry, the guanacos won't stay there with you.
