About White Desert

A visit to this white desert will surely make you feel like you've landed on the sets of a surreal, science fiction film, or on the surface on an alien planet, and that is its biggest charm. Due to years and years of erosion, the flat surface of the Sahara desert gives way in places to giant structures of calcified rock formations. The large area provides ample room for witnessing magical sunsets and beautiful night skies. Find the time to spend a night at the desert by camping there, with a local Bedouin guide helping you along. This is a protected 300 square KM national park and you will not regret going here. Remember to carry your camera and your water bottles for this site though!
