About Sapporo Beer Museum

The next attraction on our list ranks very high on almost every tourist’s bucket list. In fact, it is a local favorite too.

Take a delicious trip down memory lane of one of the most beloved beer brands in Japan. This warrants a definite visit to the Sapporo Beer Museum. The museum will shed light on beer’s history in Japan and the process of brewing this delectable beverage. What’s more, for a small fee, there are beer tastings available at the end of the museum tour. This is when you can taste for yourself and understand the affinity that the Japanese have towards their beloved beer brand.

Since 1877, the city of Sapporo, on the island of Hokkaido, has been brewing a national favorite, the Sapporo Beer. This is possibly one of the oldest and most beloved brands of beer in Japan. More so, it is said that Hokkaido is the birthplace of beer in the country of Japan.
