About Pinakothek der Moderne

Pinakothek der Moderne is a modern art museum in Munich. It is one of the largest contemporary and modern art museums in the world. The museum houses three distinct collections. The Staatliche Graphische Sammlung is a collection of artworks on paper. The Neue Sammlung, which translates as the "New Collection" features graphic design and applied arts. The Architekturmuseum der Technischen University is Muchnic Technical University’s Museum of Architecture. Built in the year 2002 by Stephan Braunfels, the building that houses these collections is itself considered a work of modern art and well worth the visit. Art enthusiasts will love this place.
