Discovered only less than a hundred years ago by scientist Tatyana Ustinova, this incredible natural phenomenon lies in the Kamchatka region and runs for eight kilometers long, four kilometers wide and four hundred meters deep. With ninety geysers and a multitude of hot springs surrounding the area, it is the second largest group of geysers found in the world and is definitely a unique sight to behold. While a natural disaster almost destroyed this valley in 2007, it naturally restored its physical state six years after the disaster struck. It is said that the best times to visit this gift from mother nature is during the period of July to September in order to appreciate the transition of seasons from summer to fall. It has still not recovered from the consequences of the natural disaster, but there is hope that the valley may restore itself in due time.
The only feasible means of transport to reach here is by Helicopters.
