About Suzdal Kremlin

Who doesn’t enjoy a little bit of time traveling? The Suzdal Kremlin is the perfect place to travel back to the earliest history of Russia. Dating from the 10th century, the first structure built was a fortress or a citadel constructed to act as a part of the social and religious centre of the city, and has seen the construction of other buildings throughout history, including the Cathedral of the Nativity, the Covenant of the Intercession and the Monastery of Our Saviour and St. Euthymius. The city, along with its neighbor Vladimir city, was titled as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992 and its unique color palette consisting of blue and white is striking, definitely, a sight that one cannot find just about anywhere.
