About Snowdonia National Park

Snowdonia National Park is the first recognized national park in Wales. It is largely famous for Snowdon, the tallest mountain in England and Wales - with a height of 3560 ft. With some great treks and hikes laid out in front of you, Snowdonia promises to be the outdoor lovers' paradise. You can also explore the Wales Coast Path by the shore. The park also houses Adventure Parc Snowdonia in its private lagoon. Here at Parc, you can ride the world's fastest Zip Wire at Zip World. The park also has plenty of opportunities to cycle, play golf, explore smaller castles and more. If you are so inclined, you can also camp in the park grounds. Not only do these peaks offer some of the best views in Britain, but they also give you access to Snowdonian culture that ages back to the Bronze Age. The park also highlights the Shadow Falls - the tallest continuous waterfalls in Wales- and the Fairy Glen Falls. You can easily spend a few days in the properties around the park, and rent a car to get around, just exploring the beauty that lies at your feet. Visit especially the Bodnant Garden to see how it is maintained and try their famous teas and home-made snacks.
