About Cornwall

Located at the southwestern peninsula of England, Cornwall was originally one of the Celtic Nations. Cornwall also has the longest coastline in all of Britain and thus provides for some magnificent views of the sun and the waves in summer. Cornwall is dotted with colorful roofed houses and small sailboats in the water. You can also visit several Celtic ruins in the vicinity. The water also opens up your avenues for a lot of water sports in the right weather, such as surfing and sailing. You can also go looking for King Arthur and his knights of the round table. For foodies, Cornwall offers up a delightful platter of seafood and local produce. It is also home to the Cornish Pastry - a hot baked pastry filled with potatoes and beef- and the Cornish afternoon tea. When exploring the area, do not forget to try these two out. Cornwall's rich history also passes through the Norman Conquest and the English Civil war, and you will find remnants of these in the street murals as well as the museums of the city. Cornwall also has a very vibrant music and art culture, and this can be evidenced in the multitude of music and film festivals being organized throughout the year in the village.
