Top off your visit with a stop in at one of the restaurants, for typical French fare and pastries. Stroll along the winding cobblestone streets. Enter the Basilica of St. Nazaire and St. Calise, and imagine what service would have looked like there on any given Sunday. Even though some might say once you’ve seen stained glass, you’ve seen them all, that’s not true here. The only enemy of the Citadel it seems has been time.
