To see the bears take a vehicle which designed to move smoothly over snow and ice and also protect passengers from wild bears. 
One can also take a guided walk to the areas where the bears are frequent
Travelers must be able to walk up/down stairs. 
Prepared for below-freezing temperatures and slippery surfaces.
Along with polar bears, one can also see an arctic fox, willow ptarmigan, arctic hare and maybe red fox and snowshoe hare.
