About Water Cube

The Water Cube or the National Aquatics Center is the largest and best amusement park in China. Its unique and inspired design is based on the way soap bubbles come together in a 12 or 14-sided cell structure. Designed by PTW Architects and Ove Arup, the iconic structure was built as the main natatorium for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and was the main venue for swimming, diving, synchronized swimming and water polo.
