About Akbar Tomb

Kings and their prodigy constructed huge mausoleums to keep the family legacy alive for centuries. Akbar's son, Jahangir also did the same by burying Akbar in a beautifully constructed mausoleum that later became a Historic monument called Akbar's tomb. The tomb is an architectural marvel with elegant mosaic work, intricate work on the red ochre sandstone, and an encompassing garden. It has a five-storeyed pyramid with arches, artistic bays, and piers. Explore the darkness of descending into the burial chamber for intimacy with the 400-year-old legend of the Mughals. The tomb is maintained explicitly clean and there are inscriptions from the Quran. The tomb is a tribute to the majestic ruler.
